Minimal NYC its excited to present 80 UA Connecting the body electric. a group exhibition featuring selected works by five Chilean artists.

This project explores nature, technology, and identity through the lens of Chilean new media art, challenging binary thinking by presenting technological and biological systems as a dynamic, fluid processes of transformation.

Drawing from diverse experiences across the Chilean territory, the exhibition examines how technological systems can both reinforce and dissolve established boundaries of gender, culture, and form.

The featured artists use a range of media - including virtual reality, video, performance, and machine learning - to propose alternative futures. Their works critically examine how digital technologies both carry historical power structures and biases, while also offering new spaces for liberation and re-imagination. Central themes include Indigenous knowledge, biological systems, artificial intelligence, and metamorphosis — interwoven through a reconceptualization of consciousness as an interconnected web rather than a fixed state.
