Through layered oil paintings, he investigates the slippages and disjunctions of bodies coming together and then separating. Interested in personhood and community, the canvas becomes an exploratory site of this friction when bodies clash- it’s confusing, disorientating, messy and playful. Where does one person end and another begins? Is the self constantly being reconstructed by these collisions?
