MANUELA MEDINA
Manuela is an independent photographer and visual artist whose practice explores the relationship between the body and space.
Shaped by a background in architecture and classical and contemporary dance, Medina’s work approaches photography as a site of construction, movement, and transformation. Through staged environments, performance, and digital and manual intervention, she investigates how the body inhabits and alters domestic, public, and imagined spaces. Her images operate at the threshold between reality and the oneiric, presenting the body as a living, mutable element stripped of fixed identity. She holds a Master’s degree in Author Photography from EFTI (Madrid) and has exhibited in Spain and Venezuela.
