Zach Teplin is a multidisciplinary artist documenting consequences of living inside an increasingly corporatocratic body. Teplin’s paintings operate a plastic worldview of marketing strategies, advertising language and the slim chances of “unintegrated life” within systems that force integration. With a background in Art Direction and Nightlife, Teplin’s work fumbles painting’s promise of illusion, reconciling visual impact and Poppy instantaneity of graphic design in a late-stage consumer fatigue. Teplin has exhibited in New York City, Huntington, Miami, and Ibiza.
