Nil Marqués (Menorca, Spain, 1985) is a Spanish tattoo artist and painter based in Mallorca.

Marqués began tattooing in 2003 in Ciutadella, Menorca, where he was born and raised. In 2006, he moved to Palma de Mallorca and founded his own studio, Hollow Gallery Tattoo, now known as HOLLOW.

Over the course of his career, he has worked internationally, tattooing in cities such as London, Milan, Montreal, Los Angeles, and New York. His distinctive visual language and meticulous craftsmanship have earned him recognition within the global tattoo community.

In 2018, Marqués expanded his artistic practice into painting, creating a series of Japanese-inspired watercolor works. This body of work marked the beginning of a deeper exploration of his visual identity beyond tattooing. Drawing on a longstanding fascination with Japanese culture, aesthetics, and symbolism, he began producing large-scale paintings in 2021, further developing a style that bridges contemporary art and traditional influences.

In 2023, he presented his first solo exhibition, Machines of Beauty, which received an enthusiastic response from both the public and collectors, establishing an important new chapter in his artistic career.

In 2026, Marqués presents INEVITABLE, a new body of work comprising nineteen paintings, premiering at Minimal Gallery in Brooklyn, New York. The exhibition reflects his ongoing interest in the relationship between nature and technology, exploring the tensions, connections, and coexistence between the organic and the artificial.
